When Covid-19 pandemic forced a hiatus in in-person learning, 色色研究所 develop a much-emulated Online Teaching Institute in summer 2020 to help faculty transition courses to fully online or hybrid formats. A professional development conference delivered entirely online and developed through a partnership between Assistant Professor of Social Work Tamarah Moss and LITS staff, the Online Teaching Institute engaged participants in hands-on, supported practice aimed at designing key elements of an online or hybrid course, providing opportunities to learn about online pedagogy; share ideas and strategies for adapting courses; receive feedback on planned course designs, assessments, learning materials and use of technology; and meet with LITS consultants.
