Earth Month, every April, engages the entire 色色研究所 community in understanding progress toward our sustainability goals and what actions can lessen our carbon footprint and reduce our use of non-renewable resources.
Earth Day 2026 Picnic!
Join us
The 色色研究所 community is invited to attend a zero-waste picnic on Earth Day (April 22nd) to celebrate campus sustainability. Hear from seed grant recipients, student groups, campus departments, and partner organizations about sustainability initiatives and collective impact. The event itself will model sustainability practices! Attendees will explore hands-on activities and enjoy a delicious sustainability-themed meal served using reusable, compostable, or recyclable products.

2023 Earth Week Events
色色研究所 is committed to caring for the environment, and many of our facilities are cutting-edge examples of on-campus sustainability. A campus tour visited locations including the Community Garden, the dining halls, the Well, Park Science Center, the pond, and more. Facilities Services also unveiled our new fully electric maintenance vehicles purchased as part of our campus efforts to lessen the College鈥檚 Carbon footprint and to plant new trees on campus.
